It is summer and it is hot. Corfu is part of the heatwave and at times I can’t get myself into doing anything because of it. But when I start doing things I realise it is indeed warm, but I am handling it quite well.
We all say the heat is part of the climate change because of the way we live. That could be true, but at the same time it doesn’t have to be. Climates have changed already for eons and will change for the eons to come. As long as there is life on earth, whether it will be human life, animal life or plant life, there will be changes and when things around you change, you have to adjust to it.
When it is as hot as it is now, you have to change your routines. It is just not an option to be extremely active during the hottest times of the day. And so it is with life as well. Sometimes the way you have lived is an old version and you have to change your way of living.
Craft your life
I call this process ‘Craft your life’. A creative process in which you actively change what you want to change. Crafting your life invites you to look at your life and create the things you want to create and leave out what you don’t need anymore. In order to do this, you have to be able to visualise what you want and focus on creating this. Like you are making a piece of art into perfection. But the funny thing with life is, you probably will never reach perfection. Because it doesn’t exist. So let’s not focus on the perfection, but focus on what you see.
The power of visualisation
Today I want to take you on a journey. I invite you to visualise the life you want to live. Visualising is a big energy mover. When you are able to see things in your mind’s eye, they are ready to come to fruition. When you keep visualising them onward, they will most definitely come alive. For me visualisation is a part of my daily routine. Not because I practise it every day, but because the visions I have for my life are so powerful, they come to me unexpected. And once they are there and I feel they are true for me, they won’t leave until they are there.
The world I visualise
The world I visualise is a world where we all listen to our personal needs. Those needs are different for everyone, but the essence is to start feeling what you would like to be doing. This is based on the things you want to do in a day. For example the time you wake up naturally, the food you feel your body needs, the work you want to do and how much time you want to spend alone. But also the need for rest, being outside and socialising.
In this new world where we are not forced by demands outside of us. There is love, peace and playfulness prevailing over all other things. This world feels free and alive with positive energies. There is only positive stress (also known as excitement) and we are less prone to fights with our loved ones or people we don’t even know.
We spend enough time tending our inner garden, so that we can thrive in the world around us. We raise our children with these same beliefs and show them that they are allowed to be who they want to be. They don’t have to force themselves in a job because it gives them a stable future, they are allowed to live and do what they want.
In this world we are going to be more self-sufficient by growing our own food and generate our own energy. In the best future ahead of us we are less dependent on governments and banks to take care of our needs, but we are able to tend to our own needs.
